The University of Texas at Austin's Expanding Pathways in Computing (EPIC) team housed at the Texas Advanced Computing Center recently launched an interactive Texas K-12 Computer Science Education Data Dashboard. Drawing data from the 2011-12 school year through the 2019-20 school year, the dashboard provides an unparalleled insight into the statistics related to computer science education in Texas.
The dashboard covers the following categories:
- CS Teacher Certification
- CS Course Access at the School Level
- CS Course Access at the District Level
- CS Course Access at the Regional Level
- The Percentage of High School Students Enrolled in CS
- The Percentage of Subpopulations in terms of CS Access and Participation
One tip: when using the dashboard, be mindful of which school year is selected.
